I studied poetry at Columbia College, and got my BA in English and Philosophy at Lake Forest College.
Annihilation Press's anthology Hell in the Heartland includes my story "Shadows on the Pews." My first novel, Singing and Then, is now out of print.
I work at a fantastic mortgage company.
I'm generally a reliable narrator in life, but I don't have many in my fiction. I don't take myself very seriously, and poke fun at my vanity and girliness. I'm a lapsed goth and don't take that too seriously either. I love music, words, food, films, big rhinestones, the color red, and coffee. My only other passion that equals writing is bellydance.
I live in Chicago with my boyfriend and our two cats.
